Hair Washing

Hair Washing
You will need:
2 Towels
Shoulder Cape
Shampoo
Conditioner
Wide Tooth Comb

Method

Cover the client’s clothes with a shoulder cape and put a towel around their neck.

Turn on the water to a warm temperature and let it run for a few seconds.

Wet the client’s hair completely using your free hand to protect the ace from water dripping onto it.

Lather up some shampoo into your hands and apply to the roots.

Gently massage in using firm circular movements.

Then massage shampoo into the rest of the hair.

Wash off the shampoo.

Shampoo the hair again using the same technique.

Wash all of the shampoo off the hair, the hair should make a “squeeking” noise if it is fully clean.

Apply a small amount of conditioner first to the tips of the hair and then further up the hair.

Massage gently into the ends of the hair but not into the roots.

Comb through using a wide tooth comb.

Rinse well to make sure no residue is left.

Wrap the hair in the second towel and press on so the towel absorbs some of the water.

Unwrap the hair, add serum or another product if needed and dry using your chosen method.
